NEW SUPER RECORD 13:
NEW DESIGN, NEW ERGONOMICS OF CONTROLS AND EASE OF USE. THE CASSETTE WITH ONE MORE GEAR. Thanks to the experience of the gravel group Ekar with 13 speeds, Campagnolo has reduced the distance between the sprockets and decreased their thickness, thus allowing for an "extra gear" in the same spacing. This offers a complete range with a more homogeneous progression of gears, as the jumps are now very close together. The path that led Campagnolo to this solution began last season when the new chain and gear dimensions were tested and approved by professionals, using them both in training and in races. Campagnolo's involvement in racing and with athletes for product development and new solutions is in the brand's DNA, and this time it played a fundamental role in the innovation process. The continuity of the gear range and the consequent reduction of jumps between gears allow the athlete to maintain the best cadence in every situation. Managing effort maximizes performance, and finding the right cadence makes the difference between an effective and satisfying action and a tiring and disappointing experience. With the sprocket pack space remaining unchanged, a dedicated freehub is not necessary, but the usual Campagnolo N3W standard is adopted.
